The purpose of the Athletics Hall of Fame is to honor the school and its department of athletics by recognizing and honoring the achievements of former athletes, coaches and others who have made significant contributions to the schools athletic programs, while celebrating Los Altos High School scholar-athletes for their work in the classroom, community and in athletics.
All nominees must exemplify the traditions and standards set forth by Los Altos High School. Nominees will be judged on their athletic achievements while at Los Altos. In addition, their post high school achievements, leadership, and contributions to their community and profession will be considered.
Note:
*Athletes must have graduated 5 or more years prior to being nominated (special circumstances may be considered).
*Coaches who are nominated must be inactive as a coach for consideration (special circumstances may be considered).
*A contributor must have made an outstanding contribution to the athletic programs at Los Altos (they need not be a player or coach).
Last year, the Selection Committee selected 11 Conquerors to be part of its inaugural class. The athletic accomplishments of these honorees while at Los Altos and beyond were certainly worthy of being recognized as part of the rich history of Los Altos High School and we are excited to celebrate them.
